Nyvahn Canal (Copenhagen)
Nyhavn is a canal in central Copenhagen, dug in the 17th century and meaning "new port" in Danish. The bright colors of the houses lining the canal are its hallmark. These are the former homes of merchants and writers. Some boats can be visited.
