Mauritius

This paradise island in the Indian Ocean is surrounded by over 150 km of white sandy beaches lined with coconut palms. It's a photographer's paradise.

Underwater waterfall

In the south-west of Mauritius lies a spectacular site off the coast of Morne Brabant, the island's iconic mountain. The sand, pushed by ocean currents, flows into an underwater plateau 4,000 m below the surface, giving the impression that a waterfall exists beneath the ocean.
